Roadshow Polska along with Ministry of Economy, Polish Chamber of Commerce, President of the City Gdańsk and Gdańsk Economic Development Agency InvestGDA in cooperation with PAIiIZ are inviting to POLISH INVESTFORUM 2010 which will take place in 4-6 November in the Polish Baltic Frédéric Chopin Philharmonic, Gdansk
.

Polish Investforum is the first cycle of conferences in Poland presenting investment opportunities in our country to foreign entities and introducing participants to possibilities and perspectives of the Polish economy development in the years to come.

The opening of the Forum as a cyclical (annual) event took place on 3-4 June 2009. http://www.roadshowpolska.pl/En/Kon/ForumInwest_01/Kn_01Intro.htm The Forum was opened by Danuta Huebner, Polish Commissary for the Regional Policy of the European Union.

The main objective of the Forum is to promote the image of Poland and present its attractiveness as the location of foreign investment. The Forum also allows to promote individual regions of the country (towns, special economic zones, technology parks, development agencies etc.) and their investment offers as well as companies offering cooperation to investors.

Not so long ago Poland was perceived from the angle of stereotypes. Foreign investors repeatedly placed Poland at the top of the list specifying potential locations for their investment, but in the end they decided to select another country. According to JP Morgan’s forecast from August 2010, an economic growth of Poland will increase to 3.5% in 2010 from 3,2% forecasts and will continue to be highest in the region. JP Morgan expects very positive result of second quarter 2010, amounting to 3,6%. Poland proved that its economy and attractiveness in respect of investing are sufficiently well founded to minimize turbulence during crisis. Thus, it became the most attractive location for foreign investors in the region – this strong argument is a premise of the Polish InvestForum.

The next series of Polish Investforum 2010 will cover the following key subjects:
Possibilities, barriers, new trends related to the development of investment in outsourcing (BPO and KPO) in Poland. We will consider the impact of how Poland is perceived in the world, its image on the inflow of foreign investment. We will present experiences and references of foreign investors based on India which is a modern player in global economy. We will present in detail the experiences and successes of towns in their support for foreign investors. We will discuss the development directions for the power industry based on renewable energy sources which is the most developing sector of the economy. Infrastructure investment, construction industry, real property market will also be interesting topics from the perspective of preparation for Euro 2012.

During conference related the discussion panels and workshops will take place during which you will have an opportunity to learn how to start BPO/SSC investment in Poland successfully and what post-investment support is available. The outsourcing part participants will be provided with a presentation of entities that have had joint service centers for several years as well as entities that have selected Poland for the location of such investment only recently.
Whereas during the series of conferences concerning renewable energy, infrastructure investment you will have an opportunity to find out more about the progress of preparation for EURO 2010 in Poland, real property market development and investment situation in India and China.
Forum formula is based on the interaction with participants, which will enable a full dialogue and information sharing. During Polish Investforum 2010 we will provide possibility for investors to debate with government, self-governments, consultants and lawyers. Those participants who will be interested in individual meetings with representatives of towns and special economic zones, consultants will have such an opportunity.
